All custom projects begin with a $35 project deposit, which covers an initial review of your dimensions, intended use, material, construction, and design direction. The full deposit is credited toward your final order.
For a handwoven ramie noren made using our traditional katazome paste-resist process, a new custom motif requires the preparation of a dedicated stencil. Simple custom motifs start at $95 per design. Larger, more detailed, multi-color, or commercial logo designs may require additional stencil and artwork fees and will be quoted individually.
The katazome stencil fee does not apply to digitally printed canvas noren. Printed projects may still involve an additional artwork-preparation fee when logo cleanup, vectorization, custom illustration, or extensive layout work is required.
