All custom projects begin with a $35 project deposit. This covers an initial review of your requested dimensions, intended use, material, construction, color, and design direction. The full deposit will be credited toward your final order.

For a handwoven ramie noren made using our traditional katazome paste-resist process, a completely new motif or logo requires a dedicated stencil. Custom logo or motif stencils up to 12 × 12 inches start at $175 per design. Larger, more detailed, multi-color, or commercial designs will be quoted individually.

Customers may also customize the dimensions of selected existing designs. Pricing depends on the final size, number of panels, fabric grade, dyeing process, and whether the original motif must be resized or rearranged.

Digitally printed canvas noren do not require a katazome stencil fee. However, additional artwork-preparation fees may apply if the submitted file requires logo cleanup, vectorization, custom illustration, color adjustment, or extensive layout work.

Our standard production time for custom orders is approximately 5–8 weeks. A 2–3 week rush service may be available for an additional fee starting at $250, depending on the project and production schedule.
