Coffee Ritual Noren – Hand-Painted Acrylic on Ramie

A hand-painted noren inspired by the quiet rhythm of making coffee—the beans, the kettle, and the first warm cup of the day.

Coffee-related motifs are painted individually in white acrylic across a warm earthy-brown ground. The simple repetition creates a graphic but familiar composition, while the visible ramie weave keeps the piece natural and relaxed rather than overly polished.

The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and semi-sheer. It gently filters light, maintains airflow, and provides partial visual privacy without fully closing off the room. Ramie also retains a naturally structured body, allowing the curtain to hang with a cleaner form rather than a soft, floppy drape.

Installation

Care

Professional dry clean only. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, scrub, or rub the painted surface. Avoid bleach, chemical detergents, alcohol, and disinfecting sprays. Remove surface dust gently and iron from the reverse side on a low setting. Keep away from open flame and high heat.
